The 2024 NFL Draft was one to remember, with many college stars being selected to NFL teams. This draft was filled with “generational talent” like Marvin Harrison Jr. from Ohio State and Caleb Williams from USC. These players are compared to Patrick Mahomes and Randy Moss by NFL coaches and analysts.
The first round was filled with many offensive picks, and six quarterbacks were taken in the first round. Many other players were selected in the draft, most notably Jayden McDaniels from LSU, the most recent Heisman winner, and J.J. McCarthy of the Michigan Wolverines, coming off of a National Championship. With the new generation of players entering the NFL, most teams were able to capitalize on the draft. For example, the Bears were able to pick Caleb Williams who is considered the next All-Time great Quarterback by many analysts and scouts, and Rome Odunze from the University of Washington, who is considered a top-five wide receiver in the draft. Both of these players are going to have a giant impact on the Bears franchise with hopes of turning their future around.
Overall, the NFL draft was one to remember with many future stars getting their opportunity to have an impact on this upcoming season.
