The Hope Center was broken into around 1 a.m. on January 18. A place where many individuals turn for support, and now it is turning to its supporters for help.
A masked man with a yellow duffel bag entered The Hope Center and The Loft Coffee House early in the morning, stole cash and came back to vandalize the thrift store and boutique.
Many people are beginning to connect the dots as there have been other burglaries near The Hope Center area. People are starting to believe that it has been the same suspect committing the crimes.
Bourbon & Branch and Strutty’s Feed and Pet Supply have also been broken into, supposedly by the same suspect. They are both located along Highway 281 in a commercial strip around The Loft Coffee House and The Hope Center.
As the burglaries were close in location and time, The Hope Center is sharing videos and photos on its Facebook page showcasing what the masked man looked like as well as asking for people to speak up and support.
The nonprofit organization is reaching out to the community for support to help the organization recover from the damage.
If you have information about the incident, reach out to The Hope Center’s social media page, and send the organization a message as any information can help. The Hope Center is always accepting donations. If you would like to donate to show support, visit The Hope Center.
